PLASTIC MODEL AIRPLANE KITS FOR SALE

This page includes a listing of various plastic model airplane kits that I have purchased over the years that I thought might be used as reference for flying model designs. I have come to the conclusion that it is time to get rid of the ones I know I will never use or have multiples of ones already used. I plan to add to the list as I go through the multiple boxes of kits moved to our new location years ago but not yet gone through. Many if not most (I have not had time to research all of them) are out of production and I have tried to check out prices on the internet. Most have been opened and looked at. All have all parts although some I have used in a few of my designs and some parts have been removed from the sprues but are loose in the boxes.

SOME HISTORY:

I used to build plastic model starting back in the mid 1950's and had a small collection by the time I got married and move out. Unfortunately my mother gave away my models to a kid living next door and he used them as toys. I started building them again actively along with rubber powered stick and tissue models and over the years started saving things. Building plastic models ceased when I started designing flying models but I still picked up kits to use as potential references for future flying models. Now in my 70's it is time to prune my collection and hopefully provide other modelers with some kits that will eventually be built or added to their collections.

Only one of each model kit is available and as I get orders I will update the list. First come first served. Shipping and Handling will be added. Shipment will be primarily by USPS first class or priority mail or UPS for large orders. Contact me by email if you are interested and I will figure the shipping costs.

Kit Description

Description of kits is from the box labels. The photos will show the box cover. Sometimes I might have comments added. I have given an Item number to each kit with the prefit RPK-XX the XX being the number.
